PARADISE
By Chiemi Shimada

Languages Japanese, French
Inspired by the pachinko chapter from Roland Barthes’ “The Empire of Signs”, PARADISE explores the relationship between labour, capitalism and play through kaleidoscopic visions of a pachinko parlour and polyphonic voices.
